Davis Pet Advocacy and Wellness (DPAW): A Mercer Satellite Clinic Serving Davis and Yolo County
Location:
DPAW is currently being held at Paul’s Place, at 1111 H Street Davis, CA 95616
Our Clients:
Davis Pet Advocacy and Wellness provides free veterinary services to individuals experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity in the Davis area.
New clients are asked to fill out a client information form with contact information and details about their pets.
The form also includes a description of the clinic and the services we provide, and a statement verifying the client’s eligibility for these services.
Services provided include:
Wellness exams and vaccinations.
Problem-based medical exams, including diagnostics and treatment.
Flea, tick, and heartworm preventatives.
Pet food, including prescription diets.
Referral for spay/neuter.
We are able to serve up to 3 pets per household.
Clinic Sign-ups:
Clinics are typically held on the first Saturday of the month at 9am.
JANUARY 2025: This month the clinic will be on Saturday January 18 instead
Though we do not schedule specific appointment times, we do require clients to sign up in advance of each clinic, and clinic sign-ups will be capped when we reach capacity. This is necessary to ensure we do not accept more patients than we can treat that day.
The BEST way to request an appointment is by filling out the Davis PAW Appointment Request Form
If you are unable to use this form, you may call us at 530-746-8262. We try to return phone calls within 3 business days
We do not reply to texts or emails requesting appointments.
If we are able to grant your appointment request, a Davis PAW representative will be in touch to confirm your spot at an upcoming clinic.
